Stephen has over 45 years of experience in traditional and modern construction techniques. Hailing from a family of builders, he has worked on projects ranging from barn conversions and new builds to specialist cob restoration.

With his small team of skilled labourers, Stephen partners with trusted local contractors to provide complete services from start to finish on your project. This collaborative approach allows us to bring in specialised expertise as needed - including scaffolding, electrical, plumbing, joinery, metal fabrication, and engineering. We aim to source materials locally and sustainably whenever possible.

All of our work complies fully with current building regulations and historic conservation requirements. Much of the work we undertake involves listed buildings, so traditional skills and expertise become invaluable. Our services include but are not limited to:
